On the last day of school I was very sad because I would not see my second grade friends again.

(Noah’s class this year was a mix of 1st and 2nd graders. His closest friends will be going into a different gifted group for 3rd grade.)

I got new hamsters today! They are so cute and only a few weeks old. I’m going to call them Phineas and Ferb.

We had to choose a plant to do a project on and I asked Mom to get to school very early so I could get the Venus Fly Trap. This project was a lot more work than I thought it would be, but I learned a lot and even got to see a real Venus Fly Trap. Too bad the mailman took 9 days to deliver it or I might have been able to keep it alive. At least I got a 100 on my project!
